Join us on our scuba diving internship on the Belize Barrier Reef!
Join us for an educational immersion on one of the most pristine barrier reef environments in the world! Add 18 dives to your logbook, further your diving experience and enhance your knowledge of Caribbean Reef Ecology.
Not just for students! This internship is for anyone wishing to learn more about the marine environment of Belize, enhance their diving experience, contribute to citizen science or become scuba certified!
On this internship you will get to dive a variety of beautiful sites on the Belize Barrier Reef including Glovers Atoll
Opportunities for exciting night dives and meeting a whole new cast of reef residents.
By participating in our scuba diving internship you will get the chance to conduct scientific dives to monitor coral bleaching and disease.
On all of our dives you will be trained on how to properly and safely cull the invasive lionfish and learn how to safely dissect and add to our data collection and research on them.

Details and costs
What is included?
18 tank dives over a 2 week period (9 tank dives per week) including night dives and exploring dive sites such as South Water Caye and Glovers Atoll.
Diving gear including BCD, regulators and tanks
Return transfer to Tobacco Caye from Dangriga
Bunkhouse accommodation and three meals a day at The Windward Lodge (can upgrade to cabana accommodation for an additional cost).

Participation and data collection in TCMS research projects
