Tobacco Caye Marine Station is the perfect place to study abroad
Tobacco Caye Marine Station offers the whole study abroad package. We tailor a program to meet the group’s interest and educational focus whilst providing food and accommodation at one of our Belizean partner lodges.
Bespoke study abroad programs
We will work with you to design an immersive study abroad program that is tailored to your group’s study focus, whether that is marine ecology, sustainability and the environment or local people and culture.
We typically run and teach our experiential learning programs but we also welcome faculty-led study abroad groups. Our in house marine biologist James can teach lectures on a variety of topics, will accompany all field excursions and will be on hand during your program for answering questions and helping students with research projects.

Offering the complete package
Working with our trusted partner The Windward Lodge we can offer accommodation, wifi, food and field excursions. The Windward Lodge is a family run Belizean business whom we have been working closely with for many years. Students stay in bunkhouse accommodation and faculty leaders can reside in sea view cabanas.
Our parent company Monkey Bay Wildlife Sanctuary offers terrestrial study abroad programs in Belize making ridge to reef programs seamless between our two campuses.
